The ‘Clean Beaches’ initiative of the ‘Sin huella’ project will take place in Puerto de Mazarrón on Sunday, November 27th.
Next Sunday, November 27th, the Rihuete beach, next to the Puerto de Mazarrón Petanque Club, will host a day of collection and environmental awareness on the beaches of the municipality to preserve the natural resources of the area. The event will include talks to raise awareness and knowledge of the environment, where the interaction of the flora and fauna of the area with marine litter will be explained to promote sustainable development, and advice will be given to reduce waste in our day to day.
In addition, a route will be carried out along the coast from the Rihuete, boulevard to El Alamillo, while cleaning and disposal of garbage that ended up on our coast is carried out. Finally, it will be classified to know the main residues that threaten our biodiversity. The project entitled ‘Sin Huella’ is organized by the companies Novagric (Novedades Agrícolas, S.A.) and Grupo Hortofrutícola Paloma, with the collaboration of the Red Cross and the Mazarrón Town Hall.
