Mazarrón presented 11 beaches to this badge, all of them having been certified, so the beaches that are incorporated into the “S” program for Tourism Sustainability are the beaches of Bolnuevo, La Isla, Puerto, Alamillo, Mojón, Rihuete, Junta de los Mares, Bahía, Nares, Castellar and Las Moreras.
This is one more step within the quality policy of the Department of Tourism and the Coast of the City Council of Mazarrón by which it tries to guarantee that the services that the beaches of Mazarrón offer to residents and visitors meet the highest levels of quality possible, while respecting the natural environment demonstrated by the distinctions that its beaches have up to now, such as the 7 Q certifications for tourism quality, the 7 SICTED distinctions, the 7 Blue Flags and the “S” Certification for tourism sustainability that was certified last week for 11 of our beaches.
